Fried Green Tomatoes
This classic Southern dish is sure to make your mouth water. Compliment your main dish with just the right amount of tang.

- 2 Medium to Large Green Tomatoes
- 2 cups All Purpose Flour
- 2 tbsp Seasoned Salt
- 2 Eggs
- ΒΌ cup Milk
- Vegetable Oil Enough to cover bottom of skillet
- Lemon Juice Optional
Cut tomatoes into thin slices
In a bowl, whisk together eggs and milk
In a separate bowl, combine flour and seasoned salt making sure tocompletely blending both together with fork or whisk Heat oil in a skillet at about medium to medium high heat
Dip tomato slices in egg and milk combination then coat with theflour mixture In a single layer, place coated tomato slices in heated oil
Fry tomatoes until golden brown on both sides
Place fried tomatoes on plate with a paper towel to help absorb anyextra oil Salt and pepper to taste
- For a little extra tartness add just a squirt of lemon Juice.
